From acclaimed storyteller and photographer Julie Kay Kelly comes a limited craft experience to revel in and capture the magic of your beautiful family right now.

join us for a day of slowing down, honoring, and celebrating the magic of 2018. like regular holiday photo sessions, we’ll be capturing gorgeous photographs of your family now.

unlike typical holiday sessions, we’ll encourage you to go deeper this year by taking some time to reflect on it all, led by your littlest family members.

in turn, we’ll make you something we promise won’t end up in the recycling bin, something you’ll treasure for a lifetime.

because, if we don’t take time to pause and revel in our beautiful lives now, when will we?

how it works:

1) once you’ve reserved your session, begin reflecting with your family on all of the amazing things that have happened in the past year. keep an eye out for our family reflection guide to walk you through the process and help you begin recording your most precious memories.

2) on the session date, arrive at the photography location - a beautiful, impeccably styled 1920’s modern storybook home in the oakland hills. we’ll be asking about those memories and celebrations you reflected on, and capturing your family’s answers with audio recorders. because children’s sweet little voices change with each passing day.

3) by the end of our session, you will have a gorgeous set of photographs, and an audio recording THAT will be yours to keep.

4) next, choose how you wISH TO PRESERVE and share your memories - through holiday cards, a wintertide film, a wintertide heirloom book, or all three.

faq:

Q: i love this idea and would love to be part of this but i can’t make that date. are there any others available?

A: these are the only two dates open for the 2018 holiday season. we will, however, be offering similar sessions in the 2019, including mother’s day stories, and father’s day stories. to be kept in the loop, just fill out the form below, and we’ll alert you as soon as those sessions open.

q: we’re not holiday card people, but we’d love to do a family photography session, can we sign up?

a: absolutely. we love the turn of the year as a time to reflect on the past year, whether you are into holidays, cards, or neither.

q: how do I reserve my spot?

A: to reserve your spot, you must fill out the form below and place a 50% DEPOSIT. THE REMAINDER WILL BE DUE ON THE DAY OF YOUR SESSION.

Q:i love this idea but would rather do it in our own home. is that possible?

A: yes, subject to timing and availability. please contact us using the form below for more details.

Q: my child(ren) are too young to form coherent sentences. can we still participate?

A: absolutely! we have some pretty clever workarounds for this one.

Q. I want to do this, But I live out of the area. can i participate?

a: we will be offering storyloom sessions in select cities in the year to come. if you’d like to put in a request for your area, please fill out the form below.

Q:how much does it cost?

A: our sessions begin at $375. heirloom books begin at $500. wintertide films begin at $1500. for a full pricing guide, please fill out the form below.

Q: what is included in all sessions?

A: all sessions include: a 30-minute photography session; a 15-minute storytelling session; ten final high-resolution images delivered within one week; and an audio recording of your family. for a full range of options, please fill out the form below.

q: help, all of the sessions are reserved. what do i do?

a: to keep this a craft offering, we are only offering a limited number of sessions this season. please let us know if you’d like us to put you on the waitlist in case of any cancellations. you can also use the form to check on our availability for in-home sessions. lastly, will be offering more sessions soon. to be among the first notified when these open up, please fill out the form below.
