Stacy and Peter's Calistoga wedding was part of a three-day soiree in a myriad of beautiful locations - most notably, their gorgeous vineyard home. This set of teasers is from the wedding day itself and can only begin with a photograph of the breathtaking backdrop of their home - and wedding ceremony.
Needless to say, when I first visited Stacy's and Peter's home for a site visit, I got pretty excited.
The weekend was a mix of elegance, art, epicurean and sartorial delight. Flowers came from the St. Helena Farmers Market.

Another perspective
Weddings are magical in so many ways and I admit that I've seen my share of miraculous things happen at weddings. At Stacy and Peter's wedding, it was this: a special raven Stacy and Peter have come to know and love added his blessing to their vows. Peter and Stacy had just said, "I do," when, unexpectedly, the raven swooped in low. In a throaty call he crowed his affirmation. The audience gasped, then laughed. A moment of the divine. Though we didn't see him right then, we suspect he's among these ravens we later saw circling overhead. (Photo by Kristi.)
