Holman Ranch: Dancing in the sun

At the beginning of this year I had the exquisite treat of getting to spend a few days at Holman Ranch with Jessica Burke, Twigss Floral, and a small group of other talented artists as part of a Fullosophie styling workshop. To say I'm a fan of Jessica and Twigss would be an understatement; I'm deeply inspired by their work. The workshop was a feast of beauty, with ribbon from Silk and Willow, calligraphy from Bianca from Little Miss Press, lounge rentals from Seventh Heaven Vintage Rentals, and so much more. I'm sure I will be sharing more about this magical time, but for now, I just wanted to share this one photograph I took.

Jessica, Twiggs, and Katie Nash all dove deep into the creative process to weave a story about a young girl with Spanish roots who had grown up on the farmland near Holman Ranch, and returned there as a young woman to celebrate her wedding. I love how in the photograph above the woman seems to be alight with fireflies. Evening sunset is a magical thing.
