Amy and John's Wedding | Napa Wedding Photography | Napa Wedding Photographer
Up until a month ago, Amy and John always thought they would get married - eventually. They've been together for four years, live together and, simply, make a perfect match. Then, John's company gave him notice that he'd be transferring imminently to Europe. It would be much easier to move together as a married couple, so Amy and John sped up their plan - dramatically. They made an appointment at the Napa County Clerk's Office to get their marriage license (they chose it over San Francisco City Hall because they needed a same-day paperwork turnaround!) and Amy's family flew out from the East Coast for the whirlwind ceremony. The two still plan to have a 'real' wedding someday, but for the day of their official marriage, they decided to take thing seriously. And, to have a little fun.
Here's a photo from the Rutherford winery we went to to take some fun portraits. I adore this one! But, I'm getting ahead of myself...
First, Amy and John signed the paperwork at the Napa County Clerk's office.
It wasn't the most picturesque place in the world, but the love and emotion made up for it.
And, we found this magic unexpected spot right outside!
Hard to beat a gorgeous winery, though. Here are a couple more from Rutherford. Isn't this couple beautiful?!
We took a lot of great shots, so stay tuned for more to come.
Congratulations Amy and John! It was an honor photographing your big (little) day. I wish you the very best in your life abroad, and can't wait to share more photos with you!
