Jenna and Zack | San Francisco Engagement Photography | Bay Area Engagement Photographer
Jenna and Zack's engagement session was a very, very special one for me. Because: Jenna is my little sister. And Zack is my new brother-in-law-to-be!
When Jenna and Zack first asked me if I would shoot their engagement photos for them, I hesitated. I wanted them to have the perfect engagement session experience, and not to have me take the photos simply because I'm a photographer. They assured me that they really wanted to work with me, and I got excited. Knowing them as well as I do, I suggested we take the photos while partaking in some of their favorite activities. These include: eating ice cream, going to Tartine Bakery, and spending time outdoors.
We started our time at Humphry Slocombe Ice Cream, one of Jenna and Zack's regular ice cream spots. Jenna got a scoop of Hibiscus Beet Sorbet, and Zack got a scoop of Magnolia Stout. Yum!
Jenna and Zack met in 2007 in San Francisco, where they've lived for the past several years. I remember how giddy Jenna was when she first told me about the charming, funny young man she'd met while out with some friends.
Several years later, that giddiness is still evident when they are together.
Jenna describes the two of them as "two peas in a pod."
Jenna is a master baker, and loves Tartine Bakery so we had to make that a part of our trip!
Of course, we couldn't resist stopping here as we entered Golden Gate Park.
We landed near the Conservatory of flowers and wandered around, enjoying unseasonably warm San Francisco weather. I was having the best time. Seeing my sister in love and beloved is such a wonderful feeling.
Jenna and Zack, I'm so excited for you, and I love you so much.
